Residential Youth Support Specialist

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Residential Youth Support Specialists to join our team on a casual basis. This role offers flexibility and no contractual obligations, allowing you to work the hours that suit your schedule.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement person-centered support plans and communicate effectively with the care team.
  • Monitor and document changes in behavior and support needs, ensuring accurate and timely records.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with young people, fostering a supportive and encouraging environment.
  • Prioritize the safety and well-being of the individuals in our care, adhering to all established protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with external agencies as needed, advocating for the best interests of the young people we serve.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working with vulnerable youth in a residential setting.
  • Availability to work weekend shifts and demonstrate flexibility in scheduling.
  • A qualification in Health & Social Care or a willingness to pursue one is highly desirable.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and electronic documentation systems.
