Diesel Generator Technician

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Generator Engineer to join our team at Blue Arrow - Burton on Trent. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the routine maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our diesel generators.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure generators are in good working condition
- Diagnose and repair faults on commercial diesel generators
- Travel to client sites for urgent repair needs and conduct final safety inspections prior to delivery
- Coordinate with the operations team to order parts and equipment
- Assist with additional repair, maintenance, and cleaning tasks to ensure timely delivery schedules are met
- Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing commercial diesel generators
- Familiarity with regular generator maintenance protocols
- Capability to install plumbing and electrical components
- Willingness to assist the operations team with fabrication and cleaning tasks during downtime
- Experience with brands such as Stephill, Genquip, or AJC would be beneficial
- Previous welding skills would be beneficial
