Job Title: Technical Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect to join our team at SecureCloud+, a leading provider of secure ICT services to the UK's Defence and Security sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and lead the technical design of systems and services, ensuring compliance with security frameworks and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain architecture solutions for Central Government and MoD projects, as well as large industry primes.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure a smooth transition from design to delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of technical standards and principles, staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies.
  • Apply TOGAF or similar architecture frameworks and methodologies to drive technical design decisions.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in on-premise infrastructure design, with a strong background in Windows server OS's, Microsoft Exchange, and virtualisation technologies.
  • Experience designing infrastructure using VMware ESXi/vSphere/vCenter/vCloud, General Networks, IDAM/RBAC/ABAC/MFA, and Windows Technologies.
  • Knowledge of Secure by Design and Zero Trust Principles, with experience working in a Defence setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to produce documentation for CLD & HLD work.
  • UK Security Check (SC) clearance is required, with a view to obtaining UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance as required.
