Senior Cloud Engineer

Join OCC Computer Personnel in our mission to deliver exceptional cloud solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and efficient Azure cloud infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deploy cloud infrastructure aligned with the Azure Well-Architected Framework.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline cloud operations and manage resources efficiently.
  • Collaborate with security teams to develop and enhance internal SIEM and SOAR solutions.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, identify issues, and troubleshoot to ensure continuous uptime and resource optimisation.
  • Work closely with development, operations, and IT teams to support and integrate cloud solutions.
Requirements:
  • Extensive knowledge of Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Experience with automation, strong scripting for automation, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Terraform, PowerShell, Python, Azure DevOps).
  • Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer) are preferred.
  • Candidates must possess or be eligible to obtain SC clearance, with a view to obtaining UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance as required.
