About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team at The Chantry Neurological Care Centre. As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in coordinating the provision of high-quality, holistic person-centred care and support to our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the provision of care and support tasks, ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
  • Ensure the rights and choices of individuals are actively promoted and supported, and their beliefs and preferences are appropriately acknowledged.
  • Comply with national and local policy, procedures, guidelines, and legislation.
  • Complete local and corporate induction and attend mandatory and priority training.
  • Promote choice in the delivery of care and support, reviewing and making suggestions to enhance the individuals' experience.
Requirements
  • S/NVQ/QCF Level 3 or equivalent is essential.
  • Numerate and literate.
  • Computer Literacy.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience of working within a team.
  • Demonstrable skills in leadership and supervision.
  • 2 years relevant care work experience.
  • Audit awareness.
  • Coaching and mentoring experience and/or qualifications.
  • Competencies specific to the specialty.
