Vascular Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vascular Surgeon to join our team at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. As a Consultant in Vascular Surgery, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of vascular specialists.
Key Responsibilities- Performing complex vascular surgeries, including carotid surgery, aortic surgery, and upper and lower limb bypass procedures.
- Providing expert care for patients with vascular conditions, including varicose veins, aneurysms, and peripheral artery disease.
- Leading a team of vascular specialists, including vascular surgeons, radiologists, and nurses.
- Developing and implementing treatment plans for patients with complex vascular conditions.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Person SpecificationWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Vascular Surgeon who possesses the following qualifications and experience:
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
- FRCS or equivalent surgical qualification.
- Completion of a vascular surgery fellowship or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
