Quality Assurance Specialist

We're seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Hinkley Point C (HPC) quality team, ensuring projects meet quality standards, especially in Client Projects within Matrix Multi-Discipline Teams.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure quality requirements for client-specific programs and projects are met.
  • Provide documentation and proof that quality standards are being adhered to.
  • Develop and maintain policies, strategies, standards, and procedures for quality management.
  • Deliver day-to-day quality management support activities as directed by the client.
  • Provide reports, presentations, and contribute to data reviews to ensure quality requirements are being met.
  • Conduct quality checks of records to enable quality oversight.
  • Assist in compiling the Programme Quality Assurance Plan (PQAP) and Inspection and Test Plans (ITP).
  • Provide audit support by helping the Client establish audit plans for identified risks and manage audit findings.
  • Facilitate the closeout of non-conformances, including Root Cause Analysis.
  • Ensure controls are in place for Quality Records and 'End of Reports' from sub-contractors.
  • Provide data for quality issue investigations.
  • Support the creation of regular quality reports on metrics, non-conformance status, quality records, Right First Time, objectives, and backlogs.
Requirements
  • 4-6 years' experience working in a project environment, preferably in a regulated sector.
  • Dynamic, self-starter with a strong awareness of quality/safety.
  • Experienced in planning and conducting internal audits.
  • Skilled in reviewing Quality Records (e.g., ability to analyze quality data at various business levels).
  • Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Technical/Engineering industry experience preferred (not necessarily Nuclear).
