Job Title: Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a warm and welcoming Primary School in the Chessington area. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to work with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and be able to provide individualized support to pupils in Year 3.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a 1:1 capacity
  • Working collaboratively with the class teacher to deliver lessons and activities
  • Providing individualized support to pupils with SEN
  • Assisting with classroom management and organization

Requirements:

  • Graduate or experienced Teaching Assistant with a strong desire to work with children with SEN
  • Ability to provide individualized support to pupils with ASD
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the class teacher and other support staff
