About the Role:

Talent84 Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team as a Design Specialist. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality designs, calculations, and specifications for water projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce civil designs, calculations, and specifications to 'Issued For Construction' standard for water projects, collaborating closely with CAD technicians to create 3D models or 2D drawings.
  • Work within multi-discipline design teams to deliver designs that meet project requirements, timelines, and budgets, while ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Drive excellence in Health and Safety in design by identifying and mitigating hazards, reducing risks, and adhering to CDM procedures.
  • Progress projects from feasibility stage through detailed design to construction, ensuring seamless project delivery.
  • Conduct site visits to assess asset conditions, gather data, and provide insights for feasibility studies and design solutions.
  • Support the development and implementation of Standard Products used in our design solutions, aiming to increase their adoption and efficiency.
  • Identify and promote opportunities to enhance project digitalization, sustainability, innovation, and people objectives.

Requirements:

  • Hold a minimum of HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or demonstrate equivalent experience in the field.
  • Demonstrate expertise in designing various civil engineering structures within the Water and Waste Water Industry.
