Position Summary
The Role.
As the In-Store Visual Merchandising Lead, you will be responsible for the overall aesthetic and visual presentation within your retail environment.
You will guide the in-store Visual Team, ensuring effective visual support for the store and all sales personnel.
By adhering to the visual guidelines provided by the Head Office, you will captivate our clientele through innovative, commercially viable, and sophisticated visual merchandising and store layouts, optimizing profitability while ensuring alignment with Frasers Group and Brand standards.
Key Responsibilities.
- Conduct comprehensive weekly assessments of the store with Floor Managers and the In-store Visual Team to strategize workload and provide clear directives for upcoming weeks, in accordance with marketing calendars and Head Office visual merchandising guidelines.
- Collaborate with floor managers and their teams to ensure that brands are displayed in a commercially viable manner, adhering to their unique identities, the Frasers Group methodology, and utilizing the Visual Principles, Brand Segmentations, and Seasonal Brand Packs provided by the Head Office Visual Merchandising teams.
- Efficiently coordinate the retail team across operational tasks, offering guidance based on your operational expertise.
- Deliver timely feedback to team members, acknowledging achievements and constructively addressing areas for improvement.
- Utilize your expertise to mentor and develop the Visual Merchandising and shop floor teams, enhancing their confidence and merchandising capabilities by overseeing the visual execution within the store.
- Foster a desire to purchase by consistently achieving exceptional visual standards through straightforward, commercially appealing, and sophisticated merchandising of brands, window displays, and shop floor arrangements, in line with Head Office directives.
- Be responsive to top-selling and key products in-store, providing feedback to the Head Office Visual Merchandising Team.
- Actively participate in the setup and documentation of seasonal Model Stores across all departments.
- Collaborate closely with Sales Managers to execute promotions and events that meet deadlines, comply with Company standards, and maximize sales potential.
- Maintain point-of-sale and visual equipment to ensure the store consistently communicates a strong visual message.
Training & Development
- Educate and develop sales team members on utilizing the Visual Materials available on SharePoint.
- Communicate and provide insights to the Head Office Visual Merchandising Team regarding in-store visual merchandising activities.
- Support, coach, and inspire your team to deliver exceptional service through hands-on training and development initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in leading a team within a fashion retail setting.
- A strong passion for products, brands, and current trends.
- A solid background and consistent career trajectory in retail.
- Experience in Luxury Visual Merchandising or a comparable role.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
