Job Title: Fundraising Adviser

Plan UK's Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) adviser is a key member of the Quality Assurance, Impact Learning (QAIL) unit, one of four units in our Programmes Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical and thought leadership to all Plan departments, particularly in relation to the design, development and submission of new fundraising proposals.
  • Develop the technical skills of programme officers and others in Plan to ensure quality delivery of WASH programming.
  • Develop effective monitoring and evaluation processes that capture the outputs, outcomes and impact of our work.
  • Provide technical support and capacity building to country office staff to ensure the successful delivery of projects and programmes.
Requirements:
  • Masters' degree in a WASH-related subject.
  • Significant experience of designing or providing technical advice to WASH programmes in developing countries, ideally with a focus on children and youth.
  • Experience of working successfully in teams in a multi-country, multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary context.
  • Experience of having lived and worked in developing countries, and worked closely with local partners or country office staff.

This is a 7 month maternity contract.
