Job Summary:

Omega Resource Group is seeking a Quality Manager to provide technical expertise to our client's Kent site. The successful candidate will drive the Quality vision, championing Product Safety, Quality, and Legality, while engaging with Operations teams to improve standards and output through best practice performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and communicate a quality culture for designated product types and processes.
  • Manage the Quality program for end-to-end processes, engaging with QA techs and Ops teams.
  • Own and manage specific QMS for designated areas, including HACCP, Pre-requisites, Internal and KM audits, Pest Control, Customer complaint investigations, and root cause analysis.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects for quality, reducing complaints, cost, waste, and supporting other departments.
  • Develop Process Quality Control (PQC) procedures and monitor compliance.

Requirements:

  • HACCP Level 3+
  • Qualification in Food Science, Quality, Hygiene, or relevant experience
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems and BRC/Retailer requirements
  • Internal auditing skills
