ROLE OVERVIEW AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In the capacity of Optical Support Team Leader, you will oversee a team of four Optical Support Specialists tasked with managing client accounts and providing essential support to our internal stakeholders. You will also handle your own Optical Accounts, serving as the primary liaison between planning, logistics, and the customer, while managing the open portfolio.

Your leadership will ensure that your team achieves their goals, embodies our new Values, and receives the necessary support and development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Leading a team, identifying growth opportunities, and coordinating workloads
  • Taking ownership of projects to guarantee timely delivery
  • Providing assistance to your assigned accounts for inquiries and order management
  • Delivering comprehensive reports and strategic planning to internal stakeholders
  • Assisting your team in troubleshooting technical and access-related issues
  • Participating in recruitment efforts
  • Managing team performance, leave, and absence
  • Collaborating closely with Account and Key Account Managers to maximize stakeholder value
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and task simplification
  • Overseeing order management from entry to delivery
  • Coordinating with internal and external teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
  • Maintaining updated customer data and notifying teams of any changes
  • Representing the business at client meetings or events
  • Working collaboratively within the Operations team to support colleagues
  • Addressing and resolving any discrepancies related to accounts or orders
