Job Summary:- Lead a team of healthcare professionals to ensure person-centred care to all residents.
- Develop staff through regular training, supervision, and performance management.
- Conduct assessments of residents to ensure their needs are identified and met.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop, implement, and review care plans.
- Ensure the nursing home complies with all relevant legislation, regulations, and internal policies.
- Oversee and maintain budgets to ensure resources are allocated appropriately.
- Complete and oversee all necessary governance and management reports.
- Communicate effectively with regulatory bodies, stakeholders, and families.
- Identify and implement improvements to foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead, motivate, and support a team of healthcare professionals.
- Client Assessments and Care Planning: Conduct assessments of residents and develop care plans.
- Compliance: Ensure the nursing home complies with all relevant legislation, regulations, and internal policies.
- Budget Management: Oversee and maintain budgets.
- Governance and Reporting: Complete and oversee all necessary governance and management reports.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements.
- Proven management experience within a nursing home setting.
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle for client assessments and training.
