About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in delivering specialist care to patients with cognitive problems and dementia. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary team and will work closely with activity co-ordinators and psychology colleagues to facilitate group and individual therapeutic activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop treatment plans for patients with dementia and cognitive impairments
  • Deliver occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' functional abilities and quality of life
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Contribute to the development of the occupational therapy service and participate in clinical governance activities
Requirements
  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience of working with patients with dementia and cognitive impairments
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
