Job Summary:

Quality Talent Group is seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse LVN to join our team. As a Private Duty Nurse LVN, you will provide high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes, working closely with our patients and their families to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage patient care plans in accordance with physician orders and medical guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, identifying and addressing any changes in condition or needs.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
  • Document all patient interactions, care provided, and any changes in condition in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on disease management, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain knowledge and skills in areas such as infection control, medication management, and patient safety.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current, unrestricted license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
  • Additional state-specific requirements may apply.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six (6) months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.
  • Home health experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to speak, write, read, and understand English.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to sufficiently reposition patients and move equipment without assistance.

Work Environment:

  • Ability to function in a wide variety of environments, which may involve exposure to allergens and other various conditions.
  • Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases.
