Supporting Children's Mental Health in a Primary School Setting

We are seeking a Psychology Graduate to join our team at Academics Ltd, supporting children's mental health in a primary school setting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child psychology and be able to provide support to children with SEMH, SEN, ASD, and ADHD.

The role will involve working with individual learners in the classroom, supporting their behavior for learning, and helping them understand teacher instructions.

As a Psychology Graduate, you will be responsible for keeping track and recording pupil progress, and working collaboratively with the school team to develop strategies for supporting children's mental health.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience working in a primary school setting and make a real difference in the lives of children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children's behavior for learning in the classroom
  • Helping children understand teacher instructions
  • Working with individual learners in the classroom 1:1 or in small groups
  • Keeping track and recording pupil progress

Requirements:

  • Psychology Graduate or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of child psychology
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the school team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
