About the Role:

As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will be part of a global team that drives innovation and growth. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of our Physical Access Control Solutions Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop cutting-edge software solutions using various programming languages and frameworks.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous integration and deployment methodologies.
  • Contribute to code reviews and ensure high-quality code standards.
  • Explore new technologies and propose innovative solutions to improve our products.
  • Participate in backlog refinement and prioritization, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with expertise in languages such as Rust, Java, C, C++, C#, JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, WebSocket communication, and communication protocols like MQTT and gRPC.
  • Experience with embedded devices running Linux and RTOS, as well as securing devices containing PII.
  • Familiarity with biometrics, relational database design, and software development methodologies.
