Senior Software Engineer -.NET 8, C# - Computer Gaming Company


We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at a leading computer gaming company in Cardiff. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications using.NET 8, C#, and other relevant technologies.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience in.NET,.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, C#, and SQL Server. You will also have excellent problem-solving skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.


As a Senior Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from developing new features to improving existing ones. You will also have the chance to contribute to the design and architecture of our software applications, and to mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using.NET 8, C#, and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, technical specifications, and user manuals.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and make recommendations for their adoption.


Requirements:

  • Strong background in software development, with experience in.NET,.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, C#, and SQL Server.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
