Job Title: Senior Support Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team at Turning Point. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with physical and learning disabilities to live independently in the community.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing first-line support to our Support Workers, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and providing coaching and supervision to staff members. You will also be responsible for rota management, staff supervision, and embedding quality support for the people we support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first-line support to Support Workers, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
  • Coach and supervise staff members to ensure high-quality support
  • Manage rotas and ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Embed quality support for the people we support
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience in support work or healthcare, be able to drive, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be flexible, patient, and non-judgmental, with a passion for supporting individuals with physical and learning disabilities.
