Job Title: Intelligence Support Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intelligence Support Assistant to join our team at Staffordshire Police. As an Intelligence Support Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the research and evaluation of information from various sources to formulate an intelligence picture and understanding in support of other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and analysis of information from diverse sources to support the development of intelligence products
  • Collaborate with other teams to gather and share information, ensuring effective communication and coordination
  • Develop and maintain databases and systems to store and manage information
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including preparing reports and presentations
  • Work closely with other stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of the department

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in research and analysis, with a strong understanding of intelligence principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make effective decisions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
  • Ability to work calmly and accurately under pressure, with a high level of attention to detail
