Building Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled Building Surveyor to join our dynamic property services team at Broadacres Housing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing the maintenance and repair requirements of our assets, ensuring an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct property inspections to diagnose repairs and identify required remedial works.
- Manage repair-related activities for customers' homes and communal areas, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Provide expert advice to customers on lifestyle-related condensation issues.
- Investigate customer complaints and identify solutions to resolve issues.
- Carry out stock condition surveys and maintain relevant systems to maximise component lifecycles.
- Liaise with external agencies and consultants to specify disabled adaptations in line with policy and regulations.
- Assist the Health and Safety team with contractor inspections and ensure compliance with CDM regulations and health and safety requirements.
- Proven experience in property surveying, maintenance, and repairs.
- Strong commitment to delivering an excellent customer experience.
- Sound knowledge of building pathology, construction methods, and materials.
- Strong ability to manage a varied workload and meet performance targets.
- Good understanding of CDM regulations and general health and safety requirements.
