About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Lounge. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional food quality and service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
  • Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory management, stock control, and health and safety protocols
  • Develop and implement effective training programs for kitchen staff
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to achieve business objectives and improve kitchen efficiency

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations, including inventory management and health and safety protocols
  • Ability to develop and implement effective training programs for kitchen staff
  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach
