About the Role:

GRL LEGAL is a prominent Barristers Chambers, renowned for its expertise in Criminal, Civil, Family, Regulatory, and Public Law. With a strong team of 45 members, including 14 KCs, our chambers is recognized for its exceptional advocacy and comprehensive legal advice.

We are currently in search of a dedicated and proactive individual to oversee our Civil and Family Clerking operations. This position will involve close collaboration with the Senior Clerk and fellow team members to ensure the efficient functioning of the Chambers, providing essential support to our members and their practices, while also delivering outstanding service to clients, partner organizations, and external stakeholders. A junior colleague will provide additional support in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily practice and scheduling activities
  • Engage in business development, marketing, and client relations
  • Contribute actively to the growth of new and existing business opportunities
  • Negotiate and finalize fees for relevant cases
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members
