Caring Homes Group is seeking an exceptional Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and deliver exceptional dining experiences for our residents. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and serving high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our residents
- Lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective meal preparation and service
- Source and manage food suppliers to ensure high-quality ingredients and optimal pricing
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen
- Collaborate with our care team to ensure that meals are tailored to meet the individual needs of our residents
- Monitor and control kitchen budgets to ensure efficient use of resources
- Develop and implement training programs for kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Proven experience as a senior chef in a similar role
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- City and Guilds 706 1&2 (or equivalent) qualification
