Castell Howell Foods is a leading food service wholesaler in Wales, serving the length and breadth of the country, the Border Counties, and the South West of England. We are currently seeking a skilled Warehouse Night Shift Operative to join our team at our Cross Hands depot.

As a Warehouse Night Shift Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely picking and packing of customer orders using our voice picking system. This will include:

  • Picking of goods from despatch according to picking procedures and KPIs
  • Administration of picking documents as appropriate
  • Ensuring all routes are picked correctly and efficiently in line with the company load planner
  • Ensuring products picked are of saleable quality in accordance with company policy, Health and Safety, and quality
  • Ensuring the correct labelling of all orders for despatch
  • Compliance with Health and Safety and Hygiene legislation

You will be required to work 36 hours per week, broken down into 4 shifts, including a Sunday and Friday from 18:30 to 04:30. Benefits include:

We are looking for a team player who can also work independently, with basic literacy and numeracy skills. You should be physically fit and able to work in a cold store at -18 °C (full protective equipment is provided).
