Warehouse Systems Manager

As a key member of our team at Unipart Logistics, you will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining the Warehouse Management System within our warehouse. Your expertise will be essential in managing incidents, co-ordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and providing guidance to optimal system usage by the operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of Systems change within our warehouse facility, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with business processes.
  • Collaborate with business units to identify areas for improvement through system changes and process enhancements.
  • Work closely with IT teams to design and implement complex changes to the Warehouse Management System.
  • Provide leadership and management to ensure incidents are resolved in a timely manner with limited impact to the operation.
  • Active monitoring of critical system processes and timely resolution of issues identified.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the design, implementation, and usage of Warehouse Management Systems. Our system is SAP EWM, but we welcome experience in JDA, Manhattan, and other WMS providers.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
  • Proficiency in managing complex system changes and enhancements.
  • Experience in leading system implementation projects.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in a similar role within a logistics or supply chain environment.
