About Ambient Support:
Ambient Support is a registered charity in the UK, dedicated to providing exceptional care and support services for individuals with diverse needs, including older adults, those with mental health challenges, and individuals with learning disabilities. Our mission is to empower individuals to lead fulfilling lives through tailored support.
Key Responsibilities of a Care Support Worker:
- Delivering emotional and social support to clients in their homes and communities.
- Assisting residents with personal care, including hygiene and grooming.
- Providing support with shopping and financial management.
- Fostering and maintaining relationships with clients' families and friends.
- Performing household duties such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
- Accompanying clients on outings and engaging in activities of their choice.
Essential Skills and Qualities:
- Experience in supporting adults with learning disabilities, including Autism, is preferred but not mandatory; comprehensive training will be provided.
- A calm, compassionate demeanor with a positive attitude.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using computers.
- A valid driver's license is advantageous but not required.
