We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Controller to join our team at Wood. As a key member of our Supply Chain department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth receipt, marshalling, and shipping of materials and equipment in accordance with company procedures and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Supply Chain, user groups, third parties, clients, and contractors to coordinate material and equipment movements.
  • Develop and implement effective logistics strategies to optimize material flow and reduce costs.
  • Utilize ERP systems such as Maximo, Oracle, and SAP to manage inventory, track shipments, and analyze data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve material control and logistics issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Qualified to ISCED Level 3 (Upper Secondary)
  • Proven experience in materials/logistics with a track record of delivering results
  • Strong understanding of material control and logistics concepts and principles
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of tools
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and adaptability skills
