We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Estimator to join our team at Gap Personnel - Cardiff. As a Sales Estimator, you will be responsible for delivering a complete sales and customer service experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities- Extract product requirements from customer drawings and site plans
- Attend customer meetings and site visits as necessary
- Provide costed estimates for bespoke products
- Offer competitive pricing while maintaining strong profit margins
- Follow up on quotations, reporting on outcomes and customer feedback
- Maintain an organized electronic filing system with customer drawings, quotations, build schedules, and correspondence
- Identify market and product opportunities, presenting findings to management
- Support marketing efforts and contribute to technical updates on the company's website and social media platforms
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and processes
- Assist in the overall smooth operation and continuous improvement of the company
- Experience in a similar role is essential
- Strong sales and customer service skills are required
- Confident phone manner and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage workloads efficiently
- Problem-solving abilities are crucial
- Familiarity with the housebuilding or construction industry is preferred
