At Moody's, we're committed to fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. As a Financial Data Specialist, you'll play a critical role in supporting our structured finance rating groups by providing high-quality data analysis and research services.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of structured finance and capital markets, as well as excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Performing complex data analysis to support ratings and research
  • Applying Moody's Ratings' standards to deliver valuable inputs into the rating and research process
  • Reviewing and understanding financial reports, official statements, and other documents related to issuers' performance
  • Working directly with ratings and support analysts to understand data capture requirements and adjustments
  • Initiating projects or process improvements

Qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, or Business/Accounting, with relevant experience in credit/financial data analysis and interpretation. Fluency in English and Spanish/German is required, with advanced written and verbal communication skills.
