We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at the Financial Conduct Authority. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering a financial management service to our Heads of Department, providing timely and accurate financial data and analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver a financial management service to execute a common set of financial standards, processes, and deliverables across the organization.
- Provide accurate and timely monthly financial management information to the Heads of Department, with appropriate levels of insight, analysis, and challenge.
- Monitor and manage supplier compliance to the FCA Financial Management Policies, Processes, and Procedures.
- Experience in financial modelling and finance operations in an IT organization.
- Experience in providing a financial management service to an IT division of a large corporation, government, or regulatory body.
- Experience of implementing financial management frameworks for monitoring a division's performance against financial indicators and forecasts vs actuals.
- Analytical skills, with the ability to critically assess information to make recommendations and inform decision-making based on financial data.
- Computer literacy with well-developed skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with experience with Tableau a plus.
