About the Role
The Tissue Viability Nurse will be responsible for providing expert support to all acute services within NHS Fife, focusing on wound care, pressure ulcer prevention and management, staff education and training, and collaboration with specialist practitioners in the HSCP to ensure a consistent approach to Tissue Viability across NHS Fife.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing expert advice and guidance on wound care and pressure ulcer prevention and management
- Developing and implementing staff education and training programs
- Collaborating with specialist practitioners in the HSCP to ensure a consistent approach to Tissue Viability
- Working closely with the Acute Service Division to provide expert support to all acute services
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience dealing with complex wound care and pressure ulcer prevention and management, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
