Account Manager – Facilities Management Service Provider

A well-known entity in the commercial facilities management sector is seeking to hire a multi-site Account Manager to oversee several key commercial properties.

This role requires an individual who can deliver exceptional customer service while effectively organizing, managing, and motivating their maintenance team.

The Account Manager will report directly to the business unit director and will be accountable for managing a portfolio of commercial buildings. These properties include a mix of financial institutions and prestigious clients, all of which have dedicated maintenance teams on-site.

The position involves spending time at each location, with the flexibility to work from the city-based headquarters as necessary.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, and the primary responsibilities include:
  • Maintaining high levels of client satisfaction, which will lead to the expansion of contract responsibilities.

  • Ensuring contractual obligations are met and demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of the contract during internal monthly reviews with senior management.

  • Meeting and exceeding contractually agreed KPIs and SLAs.

  • Participating in strategic operational meetings with clients on a weekly basis or as required.

  • Overseeing the successful completion of all reactive and planned maintenance works to ensure timely execution and closure, in line with KPIs and SLAs.

  • Providing leadership and management to the site team as needed.
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following qualifications:
  • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship and hold relevant electrical or mechanical qualifications (e.g., C&G, HNC/HND).

  • Demonstrated experience in managing multi-site operations.

  • Ability to prioritize and resolve issues effectively, often under pressure, utilizing innovative approaches.

  • Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to a quality and professional work environment.

  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
