Job Title: School Admissions Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented School Admissions Officer to join our team at Remedy Education. As a key member of our education recruitment team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative services to our clients in the Lewisham area.

About the Role:
  • Provide administrative support to the Principal and Office Manager, including sending parent text messages, reports, rotas, booklets, and letters home.
  • Make arrangements for events and meetings, including booking rooms, issuing invitations, and drawing up delegate lists.
  • Prepare and process documents, reports, and presentation materials using appropriate software packages.
  • Undertake other administrative tasks as directed by the Principal and Office & HR Manager.
  • Support the administration and organization of celebration events, open evenings, parents' evenings, INSET, and other related events.
  • Assist with booking external agencies and visitors to the academy.
  • Assist with administration for trips, including risk assessments, medical forms, coach bookings, and trip submission.
  • Update student records on SIMS.
  • Provide daily Reception cover, including managing incoming calls, re-directing calls, greeting visitors, and receiving deliveries.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a busy school environment.
  • Experience assisting with Admissions & Attendance.
  • SIMS experience.
  • Knowledge of Data Protection and GDPR.
  • Ability to work hard and prioritize within competing deadlines.
