As an Investment Portfolio Strategist, you will oversee PMO services within the Currys Transformation Portfolio, which encompasses various projects and programs. You will collaborate closely with the Senior Portfolio Manager, Head of Portfolio, Strategic Change & Portfolio Director, Head of Delivery, and Business Solutions Director to enhance governance controls and processes across the Portfolio, ensuring successful project and program delivery within budget, quality, and time constraints.

Key Responsibilities:


• Manage the single source of truth across the portfolio to facilitate informed management decisions through consolidated reports, KPIs, and dashboards.

• Develop and maintain essential reporting requirements for all key meetings and stakeholders across the portfolio.

• Oversee the RAID management process, ensuring appropriate escalations and consolidating common themes.

• Administer the Portfolio Roadmap and Plan, managing milestones, dependencies, and changes.

• Supervise the Delivery Framework, including both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, identifying and implementing improvements for consistency across Currys.

• Possess experience and knowledge of Agile frameworks to support teams in adopting agile principles and ensuring alignment with our Delivery Framework.

• Ensure robust Change Control across the portfolio, assessing the impact of upcoming changes against the Portfolio Plan with a focus on the Critical Path.

• Provide independent Quality Assurance for all projects and programs prior to Stage Gate Reviews at the Currys Change Board.

To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate a strong ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally, including negotiating and facilitating joint decision-making.

Required Qualifications:


• Proficient in presenting effectively to senior management and communicating clearly, both verbally and in writing, with individuals at all organizational levels.

• Strong analytical capabilities to identify complex critical issues and constructively challenge colleagues to enhance overall program delivery.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel).

• Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and communication skills.

• Keen attention to detail.

• A positive, proactive attitude with a proven ability to deliver cost-effective solutions in the face of challenging project risks and issues.

• Ability to think quickly and adapt to new situations.
