Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our administration team as an Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our clinical staff, patients, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to clinical staff, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
  • Assist patients with accessing healthcare services, including answering queries and directing them to the appropriate staff member.
  • Support the practice team with various administrative tasks, such as mail processing, scanning, and photocopying.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and data protection.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals, adhering to our practice's policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of practice policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • GCSE Grade A to C in English and Maths
  • Good computer skills, including experience with Emis Web
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in primary care
