Job Summary
Instinct Resourcing is seeking an experienced Learning Technologist to join our client's collaborative team in a student-facing support capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Higher Education and expertise in working with academics to support learning and assessment provisions.
The Role
As a Learning Technologist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to staff and students on various online learning systems and solutions. You will work closely with academics to develop and implement digital learning resources, and provide training and support to ensure successful adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and guidance to staff and students on online learning systems and solutions
- Work with academics to develop and implement digital learning resources
- Provide training and support to ensure successful adoption of digital learning resources
- Manage and supervise Digital Learning Champions to provide support to staff and students
- Provide pastoral care and training to staff and students as needed
Requirements
- Higher Education experience
- Experience in managing and supervising Digital Learning Champions
- Strong technical skills, including experience with Moodle and other learning management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with academics and other stakeholders
Desirable Skills
- Creative and design skills to develop digital learning resources
- Experience with scripting, storyboarding, and developing digital learning content
- Sound knowledge and application of learning design methodologies
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
