Learning Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning Technologist to join our team at Imperial College London. As a key member of our learning and teaching support team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality digital learning experiences for our students.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deploy innovative online learning resources to support student learning and teaching.
- Provide expert learning technology support for the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of online learning content.
- Support library staff in their use of e-learning technologies, including VLEs, lecture capture, personal response systems, and multimedia authoring software.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning resources and technologies used in teaching, including developing feedback mechanisms, collating statistics, data analysis, and report writing.
- Advise library staff on the development and use of process maps and roadmaps for the delivery of technology projects.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of advocacy material for learning and teaching initiatives.
- Champion good practice for inclusive pedagogy across the Library.
- Stay up-to-date with developments in learning technologies in HE and beyond to improve and enhance learning technologies support provision.
- A proven track record of supporting teaching, learning, and assessment with technology, ideally in a higher education environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to track multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize own work.
- Excellent skills in the use of technologies relating to teaching, learning, and assessment, including HTML, CSS, Articulate, Panopto, Blackboard Learn, Coursera, Qualtrics, and LaTeX.
- Excellent general IT skills, knowledge of Office 365, and administrative abilities.
