Job Summary:

Elevation Recruitment Careers is seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our client's team. As a key member of the finance department, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Assist in the formulation of the company's medium and long-term financial plans, providing detailed analysis and recommendations to senior management.
  • Commercial Decision Making: Contribute to the commercial decision-making process, shaping the company's future direction and strategy.
  • Bid and Tender Management: Oversee the bids and tenders process from a financial perspective, providing pricing recommendations and analysis.
  • Financial Reporting and Insights: Provide key financial data and insights to support business decision-making.
  • Team Management: Manage and develop the finance team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties effectively.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day running of the finance function, ensuring smooth operations and efficient processes.
  • Contract Management: Manage and oversee major sales contracts, ensuring compliance and optimal financial outcomes.
  • Financial Close and Forecasting: Own the month-end close process, manage management accounting, and participate in annual budgeting, monthly rolling forecasting, and trading reviews.

Requirements:

  • Commercially focused accountant with a passion for adding value to the wider business.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work closely with senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of financial systems and processes.
