As a Culinary Assistant, you will play a vital role in our kitchen team, working closely with our Head Chef to create delicious and nutritious meals for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing high-quality meals, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
- Oversee kitchen operations, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team culture.
- Create and update menus that cater to residents' dietary needs and preferences, working closely with our dietary team.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special events and dietary accommodations for residents, ensuring seamless communication and execution.
Requirements
- Level 2 or above in Food Safety.
- Level 2 Catering and Hospitality Qualification.
- Allergen and Intolerance Awareness Certificate desired but not essential.
