The RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and resilient Sales Advisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a driven individual who thrives under pressure and is motivated by achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities- Consistently work towards and exceed monthly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions.
- Manage and update client contact details and listing renewal dates in our CRM system.
- Collect and verify trade data to ensure consistency and accuracy across all web listings.
- Process trade data promptly and accurately.
- Maintain and update our trade database, ensuring compliance with GDPR and VEA's privacy policy.
- Collaborate with the Web, Comms, and Admin Executive and other team members to support various ad hoc tasks and trade data needs.
- Assist in planning and implementing business and trade events, including the annual VEE conference.
- Five GCSEs at Grades A-C (including Mathematics and English), or equivalent qualifications or equivalent experience
- Experience of working with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience of working effectively in a team
- Experience of prioritising tasks to achieve objectives
- Experience of working in a sales role
- Experience of working in a B2B role
- Experience of working within the tourism sector
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to work sensitively with different people's needs
- Good communication skills in English Language – including ability to produce grammatically accurate emails
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and with consumers/customers
