Deputy Manager

Quinteducation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at our Children's Nursery. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in providing professional leadership and management to our staff team, ensuring the highest standards of care and education for our children.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Work as part of the management team to provide professional leadership and management to our staff team.
- Room Oversight: Oversee all rooms and effectively manage the staff team to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery.
- Childcare and Education: Ensure all children receive the highest standards of care and education, meeting their physical, emotional, intellectual, and developmental needs.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain positive working relationships with staff, parents, and carers.
- Staff Support: Support staff in their roles through capable leadership, regular peer reviews, supervisions, and appraisals.
- Nursery Management: Take overall management responsibility for the Day Nursery in the absence of the Manager.
- Policy Implementation: Assist the Manager in setting and implementing objectives for policies for the Nursery within the framework of the management committee.
- Programme Development: Formulate, operate, and evaluate a yearly programme of activities, following the guidelines of the National Curriculum, suitable to the age range of children.
- Special Needs: Identify the physical, emotional, intellectual, and developmental needs of children with special needs and offer support and relevant developmental opportunities.
- Collaboration: Liaise with the Local authority and other professionals associated with the Nursery.
- Managerial Support: Assist and work alongside the nursery's Manager and undertake any responsibilities delegated by the Manager.
