About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adult Teaching Assistant to join our team at Outcomes First Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs to access their education and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred education and support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.
  • Deliver high-quality learning outcomes and care support to meet the needs of our service users.
  • Support individuals to access their SEN alternative education and achieve positive outcomes in line with their EHCPs.
  • Work collaboratively with the Hub Manager to deliver educational and learning activities that promote a quality and professional service.
  • Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of learner progress to inform assessments, support plans, and behaviour plans.

Requirements:

  • Experience in care or education, preferably with individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.
  • Manual handling and medication administration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Driving licence and willingness to escort students.
