Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Uplands House Care Home in Fareham. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure their physical and emotional needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate support plans and risk assessments for residents.
  • Provide support to residents with all aspects of daily living, following support plans.
  • Ensure all interventions are documented clearly and comprehensively.
  • Communicate effectively with other members of the multidisciplinary team to utilize resources and meet residents' needs.
  • Administer and document medicines in accordance with organization policy, legal requirements, and NMC standards.
  • Maintain a safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
  • Contribute to the prevention and management of abusive, aggressive, and challenging behavior.
  • Participate in supervision, annual appraisal, and competency assessments to reflect on and develop your practice.
  • Promote and maintain the good reputation of the Care Home with Nursing, demonstrating a positive attitude to residents, their families, visitors, and others.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a nursing home setting, with the ability to work to deadlines and within set guidelines.
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow instruction with little supervision.
  • Full training will be provided, but you must be willing to learn and adapt to our care home environment.
