We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Delivery team at MWH Treatment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the design, construction, commissioning, and putting to work of contracts to ensure they are completed efficiently, within the specified time, and within the tender estimate, while maintaining the highest level of health and safety standards and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote exceptional safety and delivery quality standards to direct and subcontracted workforce.
  • Ensure the implementation of the Building Management System (BMS) throughout the project delivery process.
  • Maintain good client relationships at all levels.
  • Ensure the company's reputation is upheld by maintaining good relationships with joint venture partners and suppliers.
  • Ensure sufficient trained personnel are available for the project and that they are aware of their individual responsibilities.
  • Plan projects, including reviewing and approving the Project Execution Plan (PEP), and monitoring and controlling the delivery of projects.
  • Ensure detailed construction plans and method statements are prepared, in place, and approved prior to commencement of activities.
  • Ensure all records referred to in the PEP are complete and available at contract completion.
  • Report and identify approximate costs for site non-conformities.
  • Manage commercial aspects of the project in a timely and proactive manner, providing accurate forecasts and estimates.
  • Have a detailed working knowledge and experience of project management practices from scheme conception to end-user acceptance.
  • Ensure continuous professional development by participating in external networking, conferences, associations, and groups to stay current on industry changes and innovations.
  • Undertake other duties, training, and/or hours of work as reasonably required and consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role.
  • Present a professional and positive image of the department and MWH Treatment in all internal and external contact, maintaining mutually constructive, positive, and beneficial relationships.
  • Understand and implement quality, safety, and environmental policies and targets.
  • Aware of the need to satisfy customer requirements to enhance customer perception and satisfaction.
  • Maintain an appropriate practical knowledge and appreciation of all technical disciplines associated with delivering water and waste water design and build projects.
