This position is within our Funeral Planning team, located at our head office. Our office provides excellent amenities, including onsite parking and a convenient shuttle service.
In this fulfilling role, you will enhance client satisfaction by providing exceptional end-of-life services, which include the sales, organization, administration, and delivery of pre-paid funeral plans, memorial services, and aftercare support.
Key Responsibilities
- Uphold and promote the End of Life vision with professionalism, honesty, and empathy.
- Efficiently manage and process all inquiries related to funeral plans.
- Facilitate the sale, arrangement, and administration of funeral and memorial plans, along with aftercare services.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Engage in relevant FCA Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities.
- Handle funeral plan inquiries and related administration promptly.
- Process client payments and manage financial documentation, including weekly reconciliations and internal reports.
- Address complaints or negative feedback with your Line Manager to ensure timely resolutions.
- Support vulnerable clients as needed.
- Participate proactively in community engagement initiatives.
Essential Skills
- Strong numerical and financial acumen.
- Experience or knowledge in the funeral and funeral planning sector (preferred).
- Proficient in IT and a competent user of MS Office.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
- Resilient and able to work collaboratively within a team.
- Demonstrated understanding, empathy, and compassion.
- Familiarity with the FCA regulated industry (preferred).
