About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Plant Technician to join our team at Finning. As a key member of our field service department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch diagnostic and repair services for Caterpillar products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert-level technical support to customers, including on-site diagnosis and repair of heavy equipment.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a heavy equipment service engineer or mobile plant technician.
  • Strong knowledge of Caterpillar products and industry-leading diagnostic tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Valid LDV driving license and willingness to travel extensively.
