About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our Wholesale Finance team at Kurt Geiger. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing the financial performance of our wholesale business, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, particularly for wholesale customer balances and stock returns.
    • Prepare and review selected monthly head office cost centre reports, identifying and explaining key variances.
  • Financial Reporting
    • Prepare weekly and monthly wholesale information for the treasury team.
  • Financial Control
    • Oversee customer deductions and debit notes, liaising with the wholesale team to ensure approvals and credit notes processed where applicable.
    • Assist the Wholesale Finance Assistant where necessary, raising credit notes, invoices, and responding to internal team queries.
  • Treasury
    • Assist with the year-end statutory audit.
    • Assist with treasury audits.
  • Professional Development
    • Manage 1 direct report – Wholesale Finance Assistant, reviewing their work and assisting with their professional development.
Requirements
  • Professional training with at least 24 months accounting experience in a similar management accounts role (preferably retail).
  • Strong system skills to improve efficiency, processes, and conduct in-depth reconciliations of customer accounts between various outputs.
  • Strong level of MS Excel and Outlook skills.
  • Styleman and Sun Ledger systems experience (desired, but not essential).
