About Sterling Cross

Sterling Cross is a reputable construction company seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a mid-level Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cost Planning and Estimation: Develop and implement cost plans and estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Tendering and Contract Administration: Manage the tendering process, negotiate contracts, and administer project contracts to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
  • Financial Management: Oversee project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Procurement: Source and procure materials, services, and labor for projects, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate project activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit project reports, including progress reports, financial reports, and other documentation as required.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Professional Certification: Professional certification in Quantity Surveying or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of construction methods and regulations, cost estimating software, and project management tools.
